This LYYT plaster-in LED tape profile gives you a way to build LED lighting into walls and ceilings as a more permanent fixture. The profile sinks into the surface so the finished result sits flush and clean, with no visible housing once the plaster is set. It comes in a 1 metre length that you can cut down to suit your run, and it holds a single piece of LED tape measuring 8 to 12.5mm wide.

A white diffuser is supplied to soften the light into an even, ambient glow, and it fits with an easy snap action so there is no fiddly assembly. The profile has a 3mm lip designed to hold a good bed of plaster, which helps reduce the chance of cracking around the edges once everything dries. That small detail makes a real difference to how neat and lasting the installation ends up being.

The external cross-section measures 55.5 x 15mm and the internal channel is 15.5 x 12.5mm, with the diffuser visible width at 12.5mm.
