Description

The Luxe is a 91cm diameter circular wall mirror with a convex gold-finished polyurethane frame and a beaded inner ring detail. The frame features a stepped profile that rises approximately 6cm from the wall, creating depth and shadow around the mirror glass. The gold finish sits between polished brass and antique gold in tone, providing a warm metallic accent without the high-gloss reflections of polished metal.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and living rooms where a larger decorative mirror is needed, the 91cm diameter works above console tables, fireplaces, or on feature walls in spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The circular shape reflects light in all directions, making narrow hallways and smaller bedrooms feel wider and brighter. At 7kg the mirror requires two-point wall fixing onto solid walls or stud positions behind plasterboard.

The polyurethane frame is lighter than carved wood or plaster alternatives, making installation easier while still providing the appearance of a traditional gilded mirror. The beaded inner detail runs around the perimeter of the mirror glass, separating the reflective surface from the outer frame and adding a classical design element that pairs well with period and traditional interiors. What wall fixing is needed?

At 7kg the mirror requires two-point fixing. For solid brick or masonry walls use two wall plugs and screws rated for at least 5kg each. For plasterboard walls locate two stud positions and fix directly into the timber studs, or use plasterboard fixings rated for the full weight.

What's the actual mirror size?

The 91cm measurement is the overall diameter of the frame. The visible mirror glass inside the beaded inner ring is approximately 70-75cm diameter, depending on where the beading sits. The frame itself takes up the outer 8-10cm on each side.

Can the gold finish be cleaned?

The polyurethane frame can be dusted with a soft dry cloth. For smudges or fingerprints, use a barely-damp microfibre cloth and wipe gently. Avoid household sprays, polishes or abrasive cleaners that may damage the gold coating.

Is this suitable for bathrooms?

The polyurethane frame is moisture-resistant, but the mirror carries no IP rating. In bathrooms with high humidity or direct water exposure, condensation may form on the mirror glass and frame over time. It works best in well-ventilated bathrooms or powder rooms.
