Description

The Luxe is a 91cm circular wall mirror with a convex black outer frame, a silver-beaded inner trim ring, and a central mirror plate. The frame is moulded from polyurethane and finished in a matt black with contrasting silver highlights on the beading and outer edge, giving a two-tone appearance that reads as both traditional and contemporary depending on the surrounding interior.

Designed for hallways, above console tables, living room feature walls, and bedroom dressing areas, the 91cm diameter suits walls where a single anchor point provides enough support for the 7kg weight. The convex profile of the black frame adds depth and dimension to the wall rather than sitting flat, and the beaded inner trim creates a visual transition between the ornate outer ring and the plain mirror surface.

The polyurethane construction keeps the weight manageable compared to solid timber or plaster equivalents at this diameter, and the material takes paint finishes that mimic wood grain or metallic tones without the expansion and contraction of natural materials. What wall fixings are needed?

At 7kg, the mirror requires a secure wall fixing appropriate to the wall type. On masonry or brick, a single heavy-duty wall anchor or wall plug with a suitable screw will support the weight. On plasterboard, use a plasterboard fixing rated for at least 10kg to allow a safety margin. The mirror has a hanging bracket or D-ring on the reverse.

Is the silver finish real metal?

No. The silver beading and outer edge are polyurethane painted with a metallic silver finish. This gives the appearance of metal without the weight or tarnishing issues of real silver or chrome plating.

Can it be hung in a bathroom?

The polyurethane frame is moisture-resistant and will not warp in humid conditions. However, prolonged direct exposure to steam from a shower may cause the mirror backing to deteriorate over time. The Luxe is better suited to hallways, bedrooms and living rooms than wet bathrooms.
