Description

The Lucida is a 3-light semi-flush ceiling light with three white blown glass globes mounted on adjustable white metal arms, extending from a central white ceiling plate. Each arm can be rotated on installation to direct light across different areas of the room, giving flexibility in how the fitting distributes illumination once fitted. The globes house G9 bulbs (sold separately) behind white blown glass that diffuses the light evenly.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m where a full-drop pendant would hang too low, the Lucida provides multi-point overhead lighting without occupying much vertical space. The 500mm arm span suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas between 12-18m², while the 600mm projection from ceiling to globe centre allows enough clearance for standard ceiling heights. The white-on-white finish keeps the fitting visually neutral against most ceiling tones.

The white blown glass globes are hand-formed, so minor variations in thickness and internal bubble patterns occur between individual pieces. The metal frame is finished in a matte white paint that resists fingerprints during installation and cleaning. The fitting is dimmable when paired with compatible G9 LED bulbs and a suitable dimmer switch, allowing output to be adjusted for different times of day.

The fitting takes three G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white G9 LED bulbs between 3W and 5W at 2700K-3000K for general room lighting.

Can the arms be adjusted after installation?

The arms rotate on the central mounting plate during installation to set the initial position. Once the fitting is fully installed and tightened, the arms should remain in place rather than being repositioned regularly.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 600mm projection from ceiling to globe centre makes the Lucida appropriate for ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards, where a full-drop pendant would hang too low or dominate the space visually.

Is the Lucida dimmable?
