Description

The Losmora is a flush ceiling light with a domed shade of curved steel wires in gold, gathered at the top beneath a round black ceiling canopy. It stands 25cm tall and is 38.5cm in diameter, so it sits close to the ceiling yet still has real presence in a room. Inside the cage, a black lamp holder takes a single E27 bulb of up to 40W, which you choose yourself, because the bulb is not included. The IP rating is IP20, and that settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.

Because it sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging from a cord, this black and gold ceiling light suits rooms where headroom matters, such as a hallway, a landing or a bedroom with a lower ceiling. It is just as much at home in a living room or dining room. The open wire cage keeps the bulb on view, so it pays to choose a good-looking filament or globe bulb with an E27 cap.
