Description
The Line is a 120cm wide chandelier built from six white aluminium bars arranged in an asymmetric configuration, each with an integrated LED strip running its length. The bars intersect at different angles and suspend from a 30cm diameter white ceiling plate on adjustable steel cables, creating a sculptural form that reads as both lighting and architectural element. The combined 79W LED output operates at 3000K, casting warm white light downward and outward through acrylic diffusers set into the underside of each bar.
Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or higher, the Line works as primary task lighting over surfaces 180-240cm long. The adjustable drop runs from 12cm minimum (semi-flush) to 120cm maximum, allowing the fitting to be set 70-90cm above a worktop or dining table depending on ceiling height. The asymmetric bar arrangement means the light footprint is uneven, the 120cm length and 66cm width create a roughly rectangular coverage zone rather than a circular one, which suits linear surfaces better than round tables.
The aluminium construction keeps the overall weight manageable despite the 120cm span, and the white powder-coat finish pairs cleanly with white or light-toned ceilings to minimise visual bulk. The acrylic diffusers soften the LED point sources into continuous glowing bars rather than individual diodes, reducing glare when viewed from seated positions below. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor use, not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or covered outdoor areas.

Frequently Asked
Is the Line dimmable?
No. The integrated LED operates at fixed 79W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. If dimming is required, consider installing the Line on a smart switch that offers scene programming or on/off control only.
What table size does it suit?
The 120cm length and asymmetric bar layout suit rectangular dining tables or kitchen islands between 180-240cm long. The uneven light spread works less well over round tables, where a circular pendant would provide more balanced coverage.
Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?
Yes. The suspension cables allow adjustment between 12cm and 120cm drop. The height is set during installation by feeding the cables through the ceiling plate and locking them at the desired length, but can be re-adjusted later if needed.
What ceiling height is needed?
For comfortable headroom over a dining table or island, aim for 70-90cm clearance between the worktop and the bottom of the bars. This typically requires a ceiling height of 2.4m or above when the fitting is set to a medium drop position around 60-80cm.
