Description

This is a milk jug made to look like a lemon, in 100% stoneware with a glossy yellow surface that follows the dimpled texture of real peel. A pair of raised leaves sits where the handle meets the body, and the handle itself is shaped like a short, knobbly twig. It holds 330ml and measures 10cm across and 7.5cm tall, so it is a small, rounded jug with a neat pouring lip rather than a large table jug. At 0.29KG it is light to lift and easy to pour.

Its home is the kitchen and the breakfast table. 330ml is a useful size for milk beside the teapot or the cafetière, for cream poured over a pudding, or for a little syrup or dressing passed round at lunch.
