Description
The Liego is a garden spike light that stakes directly into a flower bed, border or planter to throw light upward through foliage and along a path. It takes a single E27 bulb up to 15W, running on 220-240V AC mains, so the brightness and tone follow whichever lamp you fit. Sold in the US as a landscape spike or pathway light, it is built around the same idea: a slim post you push into the soil and angle where you want the beam to fall.
Stake it into planting near a doorway, along a path edge or beneath a shrub to graze leaves and stems with light after dark. Because the output depends on the E27 lamp chosen rather than a fixed integrated source, coverage is best judged by the bulb's beam and brightness, with a warm lamp suiting a soft pool around a single plant and a brighter one carrying further along a border. The IP44 rating means it is built for splash and sheltered positions, so site it under planting cover, a porch or a carport rather than fully exposed to driving rain or standing water.
The body is aluminium alloy in a black finish, measuring Ø150 by 370mm and weighing 1.24kg, so it sits steady once the spike is pushed home. The ground spike is the only mounting method here, staked into soil or a border bed, never fixed to a wall or recessed. With an open E27 holder you can match the lamp to the look you want and swap it later. The Liego range includes further garden spike options if you are lighting a wider scheme.

Frequently Asked
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
It is rated IP44, which covers splash and sheltered positions such as planted borders under cover, a porch or a carport. Keep it clear of fully exposed spots that take driving rain, direct water jets or standing water.
Does it come with a bulb?
No bulb is supplied. It takes a single E27 lamp up to 15W, so you can choose the brightness and colour temperature to suit the planting, and replace it later if you want a different effect.
Can the angle be adjusted?
The spike pushes into soil and you set its lean as you site it, so you can tilt the beam toward a shrub, wall or path. Reposition it by lifting and restaking in a new spot whenever the planting changes.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the black aluminium body with a soft damp cloth to clear soil splashes and dust, then dry it off. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh cleaners, and switch off at the mains before handling the lamp.
