Description
The Liberty is a 120cm two-tier crystal chandelier built around a polished gold brass central band, with vertical cut crystal rods arranged in stepped tiers above and below the metalwork. Twenty-four G9 lamps sit inside the crystal halo, projecting light outward through the prismatic rods so that the fitting reads as a continuous ring of refracted light rather than visible individual bulbs.
Sized for double-height entrance halls, large dining rooms, stairwells and formal lounges, the Liberty needs ceiling heights of 3m or more to hang correctly. The fitting suspends from four fine gold cables attached to a circular ceiling plate, which keeps the visual weight of the metal band centred while allowing the crystal mass to appear to float. The 150cm cable length is adjustable on installation, and the chandelier is best positioned 2.1-2.3m above floor level over a dining table or central seating arrangement.
The crystal rods are individually cut with chamfered tips, which create the fine vertical highlights running through each tier when the lamps are lit. The polished gold brass band gives the fitting structural definition and pairs with warm metallics, mirrored furniture, dark timber and richly coloured walls. At 60cm tall, 120cm in diameter and approximately 50kg, the Liberty is a substantial fitting and requires a properly rated ceiling fixing point and qualified installation.

Frequently Asked
What ceiling height is needed?
The Liberty is 60cm tall and hangs from a 150cm cable, giving an overall drop of just over 2m before adjustment. It suits ceiling heights of 3m or more, such as double-height halls, stairwell voids and large formal dining rooms. The cables can be shortened on installation to suit the room.
What bulbs does it take and are they included?
The chandelier uses 24 x G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. Most installations pair this with warm-white 2700K-3000K G9 LED capsules to bring out the warmth in the gold brass band and the refraction in the crystal rods.
How much does it weigh and what fixing is needed?
The fitting weighs approximately 50kg. It must be installed by a qualified electrician onto a structurally rated ceiling fixing point capable of carrying that load, not into plasterboard alone. A solid timber joist or steel-rated bracket is typically required.
How are the crystal rods cleaned?
Switch off the power and allow the lamps to cool. Wipe the crystal rods individually with a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with a mild glass cleaner, then dry. Avoid spraying cleaner directly onto the fitting, as liquid can run into the lamp holders.
