Description
This LED strip kit gives you a complete starter set: a 3m run of cool white LED strip lights plus the supply needed to run it straight from the box. The strip draws 18W in total and puts out 1710 lumens, in a crisp 4000K cool white that keeps detail sharp. With a colour rendering of Ra90 it shows colours and surfaces accurately, which suits worktops, shelving and display runs where you want a clean, true light rather than a tinted one. In US terms this is a length of LED tape light, supplied with the gear to power it as a single kit.
Designed for dry indoor settings, this strip is a tidy way to add a continuous line of light under kitchen cabinets, along shelving, behind a media unit or inside an alcove. Across its 3m length the output spreads as an even, low-profile glow rather than a spotlight, so it lifts a surface or outlines a feature without obvious hotspots. It works best as accent or task-edge lighting close to the surface it lights, where the 1710 lumens reads as a bright, consistent line. Because the kit arrives with its supply matched to the strip, there is no separate driver to size or wire in.
The strip runs at a low DC voltage from the included supply, so it is not wired direct to a 220-240V AC socket on its own. It carries an IP00 rating, which means it is for dry indoor positions only and should be kept clear of bathrooms, damp areas and anywhere outdoors. The diodes are rated to around 30,000 hours and the whole kit weighs just 162g, making it easy to route and fix into place. The strip is supplied at the marked 3m length as part of the kit. This range also includes other lengths and colour tones to match different runs.

Frequently Asked
Does this LED strip need a separate driver?
No. This is a starter kit, so the strip is supplied with its matched supply to run it from the box. You do not need to source or size a separate driver, which makes it a straightforward option for a first install.
Can the strip be used outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. With an IP00 rating it is for dry indoor use only. Keep it out of bathrooms, kitchens splash zones, damp areas and any outdoor position, as it has no protection against moisture or dust.
How bright is it and where is it best used?
The 3m run gives 1710 lumens in total at a cool white 4000K. It works best as accent or task-edge lighting close to a surface, such as under cabinets, along shelving or inside an alcove, where it reads as an even line of light.
How do I clean the strip?
Switch it off, let it cool and wipe gently along its length with a dry or barely damp soft cloth. Avoid soaking it or using solvents, and because it is IP00 rated keep all moisture well away from the diodes and connections.
