Description

Decoded from the article code STOPPER K-W, this is a pair of plastic end caps for the K-series aluminium LED profile. Each cap closes off the open end of the channel, giving the run a neat, finished edge and keeping dust and debris out of the recess where the LED strip and diffuser sit. The pack contains two caps in a White finish to suit the matching profile and diffuser.

These are a passive finishing accessory, not a lit part, so the light comes from the LED strip held inside the profile behind its diffuser. Fitting the caps is a simple push or screw fit onto the profile ends once the channel is cut to length and mounted, whether surface, recessed or in a corner. We also stock matching diffusers, the K-series aluminium profile channel and the LED strip that fits inside it.

How many caps are in the pack?

The pack contains two caps, which is enough to close both ends of a single profile run. For multiple sections joined in a line you may need additional packs.

Do the end caps come with a hole for the cable?

End caps are supplied as a matched pair, with solid and feed-through options commonly used so the power lead can exit at one end. Use the feed end where the strip wiring needs to pass through and the solid end to finish the opposite side.

Do I need to glue them on?

Most fit by pushing or screwing onto the profile end and hold securely without adhesive. A small amount of glue can be added if you want a more permanent fix.
