Larken Speckled Stoneware Platter - Multi

The Larken is a deep stoneware platter, 25cm across and 6.5cm tall, with sides that slope down from a wide rim to a small well at the centre. Its multicoloured speckled glaze is the reason to choose it: fine speckles run across the whole surface and gather more densely on one side, while faint circular rings sweep in towards the middle. The outside carries a textured pattern that runs down towards the foot. At 0.842KG it is a solid, substantial piece to carry from the kitchen to the table.

Because it is deeper than a flat plate, it is made for food with a little sauce or dressing: a tomato salad, roasted vegetables, a shared helping of pasta, or fruit set out at the end of a meal.
