Description

The Kunming Artificial Leaf Spray is a single faux stem that branches into several fine brown stems, each carrying slender, gently curved leaves in a warm peach-terracotta shade. Soft, lighter streaks run across the leaves, which stops the colour reading as flat and gives the spray the easy look of dried foliage. It stands 76cm tall and spreads 20cm across at its widest, so it has the height to be noticed from across a room while staying narrow enough for a slim vase. As a piece of decor, it belongs indoors.

We like it in a tall vase on a sideboard, a hallway console or a mantelpiece, where the bare lower stem sits in the vessel and the leaves spread out above the rim. It works just as well on a bedroom chest of drawers or a deep bookshelf. The earthy colour sits comfortably with cream walls, natural wood, linen and warm neutrals, and it picks up terracotta, rust and caramel accents without competing. For anyone who loves the look of foliage but not the upkeep, it is a simple answer: there is no watering and no need for a sunny window, so it can brighten a darker corner or a room where a living plant would struggle.

The spray weighs just 0.04KG, so it adds almost nothing to the vase or shelf holding it and is easy to move whenever you rearrange a room. The thin brown stem has the look of a natural twig, which keeps the whole spray looking relaxed rather than stiff. Stand a single spray in a narrow-necked vase to keep it upright, or angle a few sprays together in a wider vase for a fuller, looser arrangement that still lets each leaf show.

Frequently Asked

How tall is the Kunming leaf spray?

It stands 76cm tall and measures 20cm across at its widest, so it suits a tall vase on a sideboard, console or mantelpiece.

What colour are the leaves?

The slender leaves are a warm peach-terracotta with soft, lighter streaks, carried on a thin brown stem that has the look of a natural twig.

Does the spray need watering or sunlight?

No. It is an artificial leaf spray, so it needs no water and no sunny window, which makes it handy for darker rooms and corners.

Can it go outdoors?

We suggest it for indoor display only, on a shelf, sideboard or mantelpiece in a living room, hallway or bedroom.

How heavy is it?

The spray weighs 0.04KG, so it adds almost nothing to a vase or shelf and is easy to move whenever you restyle a room.

Can several sprays be grouped together?

Yes. One spray gives a light, airy look, while several angled together in a wider vase build a fuller arrangement of leaves.
