The base is a matte black fluted pedestal that tapers from a wide foot to a narrower column where it meets the underside of the top.

Designed for open-plan kitchens, dining rooms and dining areas where the table sits visibly in the room rather than against a wall, the round shape allows guests to face each other without a head-of-table hierarchy. The extension mechanism stores beneath the top and unfolds to add 100cm of length, converting the table from a compact 130cm circle to a 230cm oval.
