The polycarbonate housing carries an IP65 weatherproof rating and an IK08 impact rating, allowing installation in demanding indoor and outdoor environments including car parks, warehouses, loading bays, agricultural buildings and covered walkways.

Both wattage and colour temperature are adjusted via internal DIP switches before installation, giving specifiers flexibility to match the fitting to the exact requirements of each zone without stocking multiple SKU variants. At 30W the batten delivers 4,750 lumens at 4000K (158 lm/W), and at 60W it delivers 8,660 lumens at 4000K (144 lm/W). How do I switch between 30W and 60W output?

The wattage is selected via an internal DIP switch accessible when the diffuser is removed before installation. The switch setting determines whether the batten operates at 30W (4,750 lumens at 4000K) or 60W (8,660 lumens at 4000K). Once set, the wattage remains fixed until manually changed.

What is the difference between maintained, non-maintained and switched emergency modes?

In maintained mode the emergency lamp stays on continuously when mains power is present. In non-maintained mode the emergency lamp only activates during a mains failure. In switched mode the main fitting is controlled by a switch but the emergency lamp activates automatically during mains failure. The mode is selected via internal DIP switches before installation to comply with BS 5266-1 requirements for the specific application.

How does the microwave sensor work?

The integrated microwave sensor detects movement within its coverage zone and switches the batten on automatically. Sensitivity and hold time are adjustable via controls accessible when the diffuser is removed. The sensor is useful in car parks, storage areas and circulation routes where occupancy-based control reduces energy consumption by switching off during unoccupied periods.
