Description
The Knightsbridge WALL1LC is a fixed outdoor wall light with a single GU10 downward-facing fitting housed in a 60mm diameter cylindrical body, constructed from 304 stainless steel and electroplated in a copper-effect finish. The IP65 rating protects the lamp compartment from water jets and dust ingress, making it suitable for external wall mounting on house facades, garden walls, porches and covered outdoor spaces.
Designed for downward accent lighting along pathways, driveways, entrance walls and architectural features, the 120mm height and 86mm projection from the wall deliver a compact footprint that sits flush to vertical surfaces without protruding into pathways. The clear diffuser allows the GU10 bulb to direct light downwards in a focused beam, creating pools of light on paving or gravel below rather than dispersed wash light. The fitting accepts any standard GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 35W (sold separately), and dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen.
The copper electroplating over 304 stainless steel provides corrosion resistance in outdoor conditions while delivering the warm metallic tone of copper without the patina development of solid copper. The Class I earthing requirement means the fitting must be connected to the earth wire during installation. The single fixing screw on the circular backplate mounts to a standard outdoor electrical box, and the cylindrical body conceals all wiring once fitted.

Frequently Asked
What does IP65 mean for outdoor use?
IP65 certifies protection against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. This wall light can be mounted on external walls exposed to rain, but should not be submerged or installed where water pools directly against the fitting.
What bulb should I use?
The fitting takes any standard GU10 bulb up to 35W. For outdoor pathway lighting, most users choose a warm-white LED GU10 between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K. Bulbs are sold separately.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb installed. If you fit a dimmable LED GU10 and connect the light circuit to a compatible LED dimmer, the output can be controlled. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim regardless of the dimmer.
Does the copper finish tarnish?
The copper-effect finish is an electroplated coating over stainless steel, not solid copper. It retains its metallic tone without developing the green patina that solid copper develops outdoors, though the finish may dull slightly over time in exposed coastal or industrial environments.
