Description

The Knightsbridge BATS6EM is a 1790mm (6ft) 42W LED emergency batten with integrated emergency lighting function supporting maintained, non-maintained and switched emergency modes. The fitting delivers 4875lm at 4000K cool white through an opal polycarbonate diffuser, achieving 148lm/W efficacy from the latest-generation LED chip technology. The emergency function provides 290lm output in emergency mode with a battery backup system housed in the hinged gear tray.

Designed as a direct replacement for conventional 6ft fluorescent tube battens in commercial, industrial and residential settings requiring emergency lighting provision, the fitting mounts to standard 600mm ceiling centres and BESA boxes. Rear and end conduit fixing points allow cable entry from multiple directions. The hinged gear tray and push-fit loop-in/loop-out terminals enable single-step installation without needing to disconnect the fitting from the ceiling once positioned. The 150° beam angle distributes even light across corridors, workshops, storage areas, stairwells and plant rooms.

The batten body is constructed from pressed steel with a white powder-coated finish and an opal polycarbonate diffuser that softens the LED output and reduces glare.
