Description

The Knightsbridge 24DC200M is a 200W constant voltage LED driver delivering stable 24V output for LED strip installations, under-cabinet lighting and architectural LED systems. The driver converts switchable 110V or 230V mains input to regulated 24V DC output, with adjustable voltage fine-tuning to compensate for cable voltage drop in longer runs.

Designed for installation within control panels, ceiling voids and purpose-built enclosures, the driver requires IP20 or higher protective housing when installed in accessible locations or where moisture may be present. The aluminium and stainless steel construction provides effective heat dissipation at full load, with passive convection cooling requiring no fans or active airflow. The 215mm x 115mm x 30mm footprint fits standard distribution boards and LED control enclosures.

Built-in protection circuits guard against short circuit, overload and overvoltage conditions, shutting down output and protecting downstream LED circuits from damage. The driver operates at 89.5% efficiency at full 200W load, reducing wasted energy as heat compared to older transformer-based designs. The screw terminal block accepts cable gauges suitable for the 8.3A maximum output current at 24V.

Does this driver need an enclosure?

Yes. The IP20 rating means the driver is not protected against moisture or accidental contact. Install within a suitable IP-rated enclosure when used in accessible locations, ceiling voids or anywhere moisture may be present.

Can the output voltage be adjusted?

Yes. The driver includes adjustable output voltage to fine-tune the 24V output and compensate for voltage drop in longer cable runs between the driver and LED load.

What's the maximum LED load in metres?

The 200W capacity supports approximately 16 metres of typical 12W/m 24V LED strip, or 33 metres of 6W/m strip. Actual length depends on the specific power consumption per metre of your LED product and acceptable voltage drop.

Is this driver dimmable?

No. This is a non-dimmable constant voltage driver. For dimming 24V LED systems, pair with a separate PWM or 0-10V dimmer controller between the driver output and the LED load.
