Description

The Knightsbridge LEDM07W is a 62mm diameter recessed ground light with a 1.5W integrated LED, 304 stainless steel bezel and die-cast aluminium body. The integrated LED produces 70 lumens of 4000K cool white light through an opal diffuser at a 45-degree beam angle, and the IP65 rating protects the internal components against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.

Designed for driveways, pathways, patios and garden borders, the light is drive-over rated to 800kg at 5mph when installed in the supplied plastic mounting sleeve within tarmac or concrete. The 1.5m of outdoor-rated three-core 230V cable allows connection to standard outdoor mains circuits without requiring a separate driver box. The 83mm recessed depth and 60mm cut-out diameter (with sleeve) mean the light sits flush with the paving surface once installed, leaving only the 62mm stainless steel bezel visible.

The 304 stainless steel bezel resists corrosion in outdoor conditions and the die-cast aluminium body dissipates heat from the LED efficiently without requiring active cooling. The opal diffuser spreads the light output evenly across the 45-degree beam without creating harsh spotting, making the light suitable for path edging where glare needs to be minimised. The LED is rated at L70B50 for 50,000 hours, meaning 70% of the original light output remains after 50,000 hours of continuous use. The light is non-dimmable and operates directly on 230V 50Hz mains without requiring a compatible dimmer circuit.
