Description

The Jax is a 705mm diameter starburst chandelier with ten polished nickel arms radiating from a central chrome sphere, each terminating in a white glass globe housing a 3W G9 LED bulb. The arms extend at varying angles to create the characteristic mid-century atomic silhouette, with the fitting measuring 429mm in height at its widest vertical spread. All ten LED bulbs are included and rated at 3000K warm white.

Designed for high-ceiling dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Jax provides ambient illumination rather than focused task light. The adjustable cable drop ranges from 477mm minimum to 1700mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or hung lower in two-storey voids. The polished nickel finish reflects surrounding light and amplifies the starburst form when viewed from below.

The central sphere measures approximately 100mm in diameter and acts as both structural hub and visual anchor for the radiating arms. Each arm tapers from the sphere outward, ending in a conical fitting that holds the white glass globe. The reflective nickel surface pairs with both neutral contemporary interiors and warmer mid-century schemes, and the relatively compact 705mm span suits dining tables in the 1.8-2.4m length range without overwhelming smaller rooms.
