Designed for high-ceiling dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Jax provides ambient illumination rather than focused task light. The adjustable cable drop ranges from 477mm minimum to 1700mm maximum, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining table or hung lower in two-storey voids. The polished nickel finish reflects surrounding light and amplifies the starburst form when viewed from below.

The central sphere measures approximately 100mm in diameter and acts as both structural hub and visual anchor for the radiating arms. Each arm tapers from the sphere outward, ending in a conical fitting that holds the white glass globe. The reflective nickel surface pairs with both neutral contemporary interiors and warmer mid-century schemes, and the relatively compact 705mm span suits dining tables in the 1.8-2.4m length range without overwhelming smaller rooms.

Are the LED bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The Jax uses ten standard G9 LED bulbs rated at 3W each. The bulbs are included with the chandelier and can be replaced individually if one fails. G9 LED bulbs are widely available and the fitting accepts any G9 bulb up to 3W.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 477mm plus the 429mm fitting height means a minimum ceiling height of approximately 2.4m is practical. For dining table installation, where the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the surface, ceiling heights of 2.7m or above work better. The maximum 1700mm cable drop suits double-height spaces.

Can the drop height be adjusted after installation?

The cable length is set during installation. To change the drop height later requires removing the canopy and re-threading the cable, which is a similar process to the initial fitting. The adjustment is described as 'on installation' rather than continuously adjustable.
