Description
The IPER LED is a round bulkhead light with a built-in PIR motion sensor, drawing 26W to deliver 3120 lumens at a neutral 4000K white. The 120 degree beam spreads light evenly across the surface it is mounted to, while the integrated sensor brings the fitting up automatically as someone approaches and lets it switch off again once the area is clear. North American specifiers will recognise this format as an outdoor wall pack or wall sconce, sized at 260mm across with a low 55mm projection so it sits close to the wall.
Because the PIR triggers on movement, this fitting earns its place where light is wanted only when needed rather than left burning. It suits porches, entrance doors, side passages, garages and outbuildings, as well as communal stairwells and corridors where hands are often full. The sensor coverage works best mounted at a typical doorway or eaves height with a clear line of sight to the approach, giving practical marking of a path or threshold rather than full ambient room lighting. Mounted to a ceiling soffit it casts the same wide spread downward over a doorway or walkway.
The body is moulded plastic with a white finish and an IP65 rating, so it is sealed against dust and direct water jets and is fully suited to exposed outdoor and wet locations. An IK10 impact rating adds resistance to knocks and tampering, which is useful in car parks and shared access areas. It can be fixed to either a wall or a ceiling, and the LED and sensor are integrated rather than relying on a replaceable lamp. This fitting is not dimmable, which is consistent with sensor-switched operation, and is rated for 50,000 hours. The IPER LED range includes plain non-sensor versions if you need a constant-on companion fitting elsewhere on the same site.

Frequently Asked
Can the IPER LED be used outdoors?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, so it is sealed against dust and direct water jets and is suitable for exposed outdoor and wet locations. It is equally at home on porches, garage walls and unheated outbuildings as it is in damp internal corridors.
How does the PIR sensor work and is it adjustable?
The built-in PIR detects movement within its field of view and switches the light on, then turns it off again once no motion is sensed. It works best mounted at doorway or eaves height with a clear view of the approach. Detection and timing behaviour follow the fitting's sensor settings, so position it facing the path you want it to cover.
Is a bulb included or do I need to buy one?
No separate bulb is needed. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable, delivering 3120 lumens at 4000K with a rated life of 50,000 hours. When that life is reached the whole fitting is replaced rather than a lamp.
How should I clean the IPER LED?
Wipe the diffuser and body with a soft damp cloth and a mild detergent, then dry it off. Avoid abrasive pads or solvents on the plastic, and keep the sensor window clear of cobwebs and grime so detection stays reliable. Make sure the power is off before cleaning.
