Description

The Knightsbridge KIT16WW is a ten-unit recessed deck light kit with integrated 3000K warm white LEDs, each light delivering 0.2W through a 30mm stainless steel bezel rated to IP65. The kit includes a constant current LED driver, easy-fix connectors between units, and 30cm mains cable to the driver, supplied ready to install for decking, plinths, stairways or low-level wall and ground guide lighting.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the IP65 rating makes the kit suitable for decking timber, wet-rated bathroom floors, kitchen plinths under base units, and garden pathways where the lights will encounter rain and ground moisture. Each unit requires a 25mm cut-out diameter and a minimum 35mm void depth behind the mounting surface. The stainless steel bezels sit flush when installed, with the polycarbonate lens inset behind the bezel rim to protect the LED from impact.

The driver allows up to 150cm cable run between each light and 150cm from the driver to the first unit, giving flexibility to position lights along a 15m decking run or staircase. The 3000K colour temperature provides a warm ambient wash for evening use without creating harsh pools of light. The kit delivers a combined 105 lumens across ten units at 2.2W total draw, and the constant current driver is compatible with PIR sensors for motion-activated operation. The LEDs are non-dimmable and carry a 3-year warranty.

Can this kit be used outdoors on decking?

Yes. The IP65 rating means each light is protected against water jets and rain ingress. The stainless steel bezels resist corrosion when installed in decking timber or other outdoor surfaces exposed to weather.

What void depth is needed behind the mounting surface?

A minimum 35mm void depth is required to accommodate the light body and wiring connections. The cut-out diameter is 25mm, and the recessed depth of the light itself is 27mm.

Can the lights be dimmed?

No. The integrated LEDs are non-dimmable. The kit is compatible with PIR motion sensors for on/off control but does not support dimming.

How far apart can the lights be spaced?

The maximum cable run between individual lights is 150cm, and the maximum distance from the driver to the first light is also 150cm. This allows flexible spacing across decking runs, staircases or plinths.
