Description

The Knightsbridge LEDM09CW is an IP65-rated 1.7W LED ground deck light with an 80mm diameter 316 stainless steel bezel and an opal diffuser that casts 90lm of 4000K cool white light. The fitting installs flush to ground level with just 3mm projection above the surface and 48mm recessed depth below, making it suitable for shallow construction or retrofit applications where excavation depth is limited.

Designed for decks, pathways, driveways, patios and garden borders, the fitting is drive-over rated to 1000kg at 5mph, allowing it to be installed in zones where occasional vehicle access is needed without requiring additional protective grilles. The IP65 rating protects against water jets and dust ingress, making the fitting suitable for open-air installation in all UK weather conditions. The integrated LED runs on 230V mains with a pre-wired 2.5m outdoor-rated flex, removing the need for separate drivers or transformers.

The 316 stainless steel bezel resists corrosion in coastal and high-moisture environments better than standard 304 stainless or powder-coated aluminium, and the brushed finish hides minor surface marks from foot traffic or garden tools. The 115-degree beam angle provides wide wash coverage rather than a narrow spot, making the fitting effective as pathway marker lighting or low-level ambient wash on vertical surfaces when recessed into retaining walls or steps. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral cool white tone that reads closer to daylight than warm white alternatives.
