Description

The Knightsbridge LEDM06WW is a 0.6W LED mini ground light with a 38mm diameter brushed stainless steel head, IP65 weatherproof rating and three interchangeable lens heads in the same finish. The integrated LED delivers 25 lumens at 3000K warm white, designed to mark paths, steps, decking edges and borders without overpowering adjacent planting or hardscaping.

Suitable for outdoor installation in driveways, patios, garden pathways and around pools, the IP65 rating protects against water jets and dust ingress. The recessed fitting requires a 32mm diameter cut-out and sits 48mm below the surface once installed, leaving only the 38mm top plate visible. Three interchangeable heads (narrow spot, medium flood, wide diffused) allow the beam angle to be adjusted to suit different applications — narrow for accent lighting on features, wide for general path illumination.

The fitting connects directly to 230V mains via a 2m rubber cable (2 x 1.0mm), eliminating the need for a separate transformer. The stainless steel and polycarbonate construction resists corrosion in wet and coastal environments. The Class II rating means no earth connection is required during installation, simplifying wiring in outdoor settings. The LED is rated for 60,000 hours at L70B50, meaning it maintains at least 70% of its original output for approximately 22 years at three hours per day.

What's the purpose of the three interchangeable heads?

The three heads adjust the beam pattern: narrow spot for accent lighting on features, medium flood for general pathway illumination, and wide diffused for soft ambient light on steps or decking edges. All three heads are included and swap out without tools.

Does it need a transformer?

No. The fitting connects directly to 230V mains power via the supplied 2m rubber cable. This simplifies installation compared to low-voltage ground lights that require a separate transformer.

What does the IP65 rating mean?

IP65 protects against water jets from any direction and complete dust ingress. The fitting can be installed in exposed positions including driveways, pool surrounds and open pathways where rain and cleaning hoses are common.

How is it installed?

A 32mm diameter hole is cut into the surface to the 48mm recessed depth. The fitting drops into the hole, leaving only the 38mm top plate visible at ground level. The 2m cable is routed to a weatherproof junction box or directly to the mains supply depending on the installation design.
