Description
The INVO TR 47 is a free-standing outdoor bollard light that brings low-level light to paths, drives and garden borders. It stands 470mm tall on a base-fixed post and carries three GU10 lamp positions, each taking a lamp up to 3.5W, so you choose the brightness and beam to suit the spot. In US terms a fitting like this is a pathway or path light, marking edges and steps as a ground-standing post rather than a wall fitting. Running on 220 to 240V AC, it directs light around its base to pick out a route or planting after dark.
Use it along a front path, a driveway edge, a patio border or to define zones across a garden. As a marker post its job is to wash light downward and outward at ankle and knee height, so space several along a route for an even line of light rather than relying on one to cover a wide area. The throw is short and local by design, which keeps the effect soft and avoids glare for anyone walking past. Set posts roughly a couple of metres apart for a continuous edge, closer where you want to mark a step or a turn.
The body is moulded plastic in an anthracite finish that sits quietly against paving and planting. It carries an IP54 rating, so it is splash-resistant and built for sheltered and covered outdoor spots such as a porch or carport edge; keep it clear of direct water jets and standing water. The GU10 PAR16 lamp format makes replacement straightforward, and the post is surface mounted and base-fixed to the ground. The INVO TR range also includes shorter post heights for matching paths and borders across a scheme.

Frequently Asked
Is the INVO TR 47 suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, it is rated IP54, which means it is splash-resistant and made for sheltered and covered outdoor positions such as a porch, carport edge or a planted border. Avoid spots that take direct water jets or where water can pool around the base. It is well suited to paths, drives and garden zones with some shelter.
Does it stand on the ground or fix to a wall?
It is a free-standing bollard post that base-fixes to the ground, not a wall light. The 470mm post is surface mounted, so it suits paths, driveway edges and garden borders. Set it where it can mark a route or define a zone at low level.
What bulbs does it take and are they dimmable?
It takes three GU10 PAR16 lamps, each up to 3.5W, so you can fit your preferred colour temperature and beam angle. Dimming depends on the lamps you choose and the driver behind them, so check that both are dimmable if you want that. Choosing the lamps separately lets you tune the brightness to the spot.
How should I space several along a path?
As a low-level marker post, its light is short and local, so a single bollard lights only a small area around its base. Set posts roughly a couple of metres apart for an even line along a path or drive, and closer together where you want to mark a step or a turn. Spacing this way gives a continuous run rather than bright pools with dark gaps.
