Description

The Inina is an 88cm diameter crystal chandelier built on a polished chrome frame with nine E14 bulb fittings distributed across three tiers. Hundreds of octagonal and prism-cut crystals hang in cascading layers from the chrome rings, refracting light across multiple planes when the bulbs are lit. The chrome frame remains visible at the canopy and between the crystal tiers, anchoring the structure visually and providing the mechanical support for the 27.7kg total weight.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, above stairwells and in formal dining rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or above, the Inina requires vertical space to accommodate its minimum 1320mm drop from ceiling to base. The drop is adjustable up to 2800mm on installation, allowing it to be positioned centrally in two-storey voids or hung lower in single-storey rooms with higher ceilings. The nine bulbs generate substantial illumination when all lit — pair with dimmable E14 LED candles to control brightness from full output to ambient glow.

Each crystal is individually hung on the chrome framework, and the octagonal cut creates multiple facets that throw prismatic light across walls and ceilings when the chandelier is switched on. The chandelier takes nine E14 small Edison screw bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a soft glow that complements the crystal refraction.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and connect to a compatible dimmer switch on the mains circuit. The chandelier itself does not contain dimming electronics — dimming is controlled by the bulb type and wall switch.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 1320mm from ceiling to base suits double-height spaces or single-storey rooms with ceilings of at least 3m. In a double-height entrance hall the chandelier typically hangs with its base 2-2.5m above ground level, which requires a ceiling height of 3.3-3.8m or higher.

Can it support the 27.7kg weight on a standard ceiling rose?

A standard plastic ceiling rose is not suitable for this weight. The chandelier must be fixed into a ceiling joist, a reinforced rose designed for heavy fittings, or a spreader plate bolted through plasterboard into the structural ceiling above. Confirm structural suitability with a qualified electrician before installation.
