Description
The Inina is an 88cm diameter crystal chandelier with a French gold metal frame supporting nine E14 bulb fittings arranged across three tiers. Cascading hand-cut crystal prisms hang from the frame in a tiered formation, with cone-shaped droplets creating the characteristic waterfall silhouette. The French gold finish — a warmer, slightly antiqued tone compared to polished brass — provides the structural framework while the crystal elements handle light diffusion and decorative sparkle.
Designed for formal dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and drawing rooms with ceiling heights of 2.8m or above, the chandelier provides both ambient and decorative lighting. The minimum drop of 1320mm positions the lower crystal tier approximately 1.1-1.3m below the ceiling rose, while the maximum 2800mm drop accommodates taller ceilings up to 4m. The nine E14 bulbs (sold separately) deliver sufficient light output to serve as primary illumination in rooms up to 25-30m², with dimmer compatibility allowing the intensity to be adjusted from full output to low-level accent lighting.
The crystal elements are precision-cut to maximise refraction, so each prism catches and redirects light into multiple beams across the room. The French gold frame provides warmth that balances the cooler refractive quality of the crystal, creating a combined effect that suits both traditional and transitional interiors. At 27.7kg, the chandelier requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or reinforced ceiling rose rated for the weight. The chain-suspended design allows height adjustment during installation by shortening the chain link count before final fixing.
The 88cm width provides substantial presence without overwhelming typical 4-5m dining rooms or entrance halls. Rooms smaller than 4m square may find the chandelier too dominant; rooms larger than 6m square can accommodate the Inina comfortably as a central feature. The crystal prisms are removable for cleaning, which should be done annually to maintain optical clarity and prevent dust accumulation from reducing light output.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take and are they included?
The Inina takes nine E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional warm glow that complements the French gold finish.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, when fitted with dimmable E14 bulbs. The chandelier itself has no dimming electronics — dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen and the wall dimmer switch installed. Use LED bulbs rated as dimmable and ensure your dimmer switch is compatible with LED loads.
What ceiling height is needed?
The minimum 1320mm drop suits ceiling heights from 2.8m upwards. For a dining room, the chandelier typically hangs 700-800mm above the table, so a 2.4m ceiling height would leave insufficient clearance. Taller ceilings up to 4m can use the maximum 2800mm drop by leaving more chain links in place during installation.
How is the chandelier cleaned?
The crystal prisms can be removed for cleaning. Wipe each prism with a lint-free microfibre cloth dampened with distilled water, then dry immediately to prevent water spots. Do this annually to maintain clarity. The French gold frame can be dusted with a dry cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners or polishes that would damage the finish.
