Description

Our Imogen plate is a small stoneware plate, 16.5cm across and 2.5cm tall, finished in a reactive glaze that gives it real depth. The glaze streaks outward from a smooth, plain centre towards the rim in a fine, feathered band, so the plate reads as multicoloured rather than any single shade. The edge is curved and uneven, more like a pebble than a perfect circle, and the low profile keeps it close to the table. At 0.23KG it is light enough to hand round with ease.

At 16.5cm across it is a side plate size: right for toast at breakfast, a slice of cake in the afternoon, a pastry alongside coffee, or bread and butter beside a main meal.
