Description

This is a wide, generous stoneware bowl, 24cm across and 8cm tall, finished in a multicoloured reactive glaze. The glaze runs in fine streaks from the softly wavy rim towards a calmer, lighter centre, and the outside carries the same streaked band above a smooth lower half. It stands on a short foot that lifts it neatly off the table. It holds 1400ml, which makes it a serving bowl rather than an everyday cereal bowl, and at 0.91KG it feels solid and settled in the hand.
