Description
The IMBER LED CW is a compact recessed LED spotlight running 1W from a 12V DC supply, putting out 30 lumens at a crisp 6500K daylight tone. The beam opens wide at 105 degrees, so the light spreads softly rather than punching a tight spot, which suits it to marker and accent duties rather than main illumination. Measuring just 30mm across and 16.3mm deep, it is a true mini fitting. US buyers will recognise this format as a low-voltage recessed mini spot or marker puck.
Its small output and weatherproof rating make it a marker and accent light rather than a room source, so think of it lighting the edge of a step, a deck board, a soffit line or a path margin rather than covering a floor area. The wide 105 degree spread grazes a wall or tread evenly and reads as a gentle pool of cool white once recessed flush. Several can be run together off one 12V DC supply to mark a run of steps or a low-level path.
The body is aluminium alloy in a black finish, rated IP65 so it copes with exposed outdoor and wet locations including driven rain. It is a recessed fitting, dropped flush into a ceiling, soffit or board cut-out rather than surface mounted, and it is not dimmable. Rated for 30,000 hours, it runs on 12V DC and so needs a suitable low-voltage transformer. We stock the IMBER in matching black variants across the range.

Frequently Asked
Can the IMBER be used outdoors?
Yes. It carries an IP65 rating, which means it is fully weatherproof and suitable for exposed outdoor and wet locations, including direct rain. It is well suited to soffits, steps and sheltered or open external runs.
Does it need a transformer?
Yes. It runs on 12V DC, so it must be wired to a suitable low-voltage driver or transformer rather than connected directly to mains. Several units can be run from one supply, provided the transformer is rated for the total load.
What beam does it give?
The beam angle is 105 degrees, which is a wide spread rather than a focused spot. That makes it good for grazing a wall or evenly marking a step or path edge with a soft pool of light.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the lens and black aluminium face with a soft damp cloth once it is switched off and cool. Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive pads, which can mar the finish, and clear any grit from the recess so water continues to drain freely.
