The Ibis is a 350mm flush ceiling light built around a polished chrome frame supporting cascading strands of cut crystal droplets, wrapped in a dense black feather shade. Three E14 bulbs inside the frame light the crystals from within while the black feathers diffuse the light outward, creating a combination of direct sparkle from the crystal and soft ambient glow filtered through the natural feathers.

Designed for bedrooms, boutique hotel reception areas, dressing rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.5m where a semi-flush or full pendant would hang too low, the Ibis provides decorative ceiling lighting without reducing headroom. The 410mm total height from ceiling plate to lowest crystal droplet is suitable for standard UK ceiling heights. The flush mount means the light sits directly against the ceiling rather than hanging on a chain or rod.

The black feathers are attached to a wire frame that sits between the chrome ceiling plate and the crystal strands, creating a textured halo around the central structure. The feathers absorb some of the upward and lateral light while allowing the downward light from the bulbs to pass through the crystals. Each crystal droplet is faceted and finished with a polished clear sphere, maximising refraction when the light is on. The chrome frame is polished to a mirror finish, reflecting the surrounding room and adding brightness when viewed from below.

The feather shade requires minimal maintenance but cannot be cleaned with liquids or sprays. Dust accumulation on the feathers can be removed using a soft brush or low-power vacuum attachment on a cool setting, working gently to avoid displacing individual feathers. How is the feather shade cleaned?

The feathers cannot be wiped with liquids or household cleaners as this will damage the natural material. Use a soft brush or a low-power vacuum attachment on a cool setting to gently remove dust, working from the outer edge inward. Clean the crystals separately with a barely-damp microfibre cloth when the light is off.
