Description

This is a small Hinoki Sage scented candle, poured into a printed iron tin that comes with its own lid. It measures 6.5cm across and 5.7cm tall, so it sits easily in one hand and takes up very little room wherever you put it. Inside is 85g of soy and paraffin wax around a cotton wick, with a burn time of 20 hours. The wax is green and so is the tin, which is printed all the way round with loose, painterly branches and needles, so the candle looks as good unlit on a shelf as it does lit in the evening.

Its size is the point. A candle this compact suits the places where a larger one would crowd things: a bedside table, the corner of a desk, a dressing table or a bathroom shelf. It is a natural fit for a smaller room or a quiet corner of a bigger one, lit while you read or wind down and closed again with its lid afterwards.
