Description
This is a tall, shallow wooden cabinet in blue, with two glass doors that let you see everything you keep inside. It is 81cm long, 22cm wide and 91cm tall, and that 22cm runs from front to back, so it takes very little room out of a space while still giving you generous display behind glass. Most of the cabinet is fir wood, with tempered glass in the doors and a little iron. At 14KG it is a proper piece of furniture rather than a lightweight shelf.
Inside, two shelves divide the cabinet into three levels, a good fit for ceramics, glassware, vases, books and the small things you want on view and kept behind glass. It suits a kitchen or dining room wall, a living room alcove, a home office or a hallway where a deep cupboard would crowd the floor. Its shallow build makes it a natural choice for narrow rooms and cottage spaces where every centimetre counts, and it looks just as much at home in a calm living room as in a busy kitchen.
The finish is a water-based lacquer over a distressed surface, so the colour is worn back along the edges and mouldings to give it the look of a cabinet that has lived in a farmhouse kitchen for years. A shaped cornice runs along the top, the doors hang on small metal hinges, and a pair of ornate handles meets in the centre. Care is simple: wipe it clean with a moist cloth. For styling, keep the shelves to one quiet tone, such as white ceramics, and let the blue frame carry the room, with a few books or a small vase along the top.

Frequently Asked
What is the cabinet made of?
It is mostly fir wood, at 80%, with tempered glass making up 19% in the doors and iron the remaining 1%.
How big is the Hazem cabinet?
It is 81cm long, 22cm wide and 91cm tall. The 22cm is its depth from front to back, so it stays slim, and it weighs 14KG.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it clean with a moist cloth, which is the maker's care advice for its water-based lacquer finish.
Is the worn look on the edges intentional?
Yes. It has a distressed finish under a water-based lacquer, so the worn look along the edges and mouldings is part of the design.
How many shelves are inside?
Two shelves sit inside behind the glass doors, giving three levels for ceramics, books, vases and other pieces you want on display.
