Description
This is a glass-fronted cabinet in black firwood, 50cm long, 14cm wide and 80cm tall, with a pair of tempered glass doors that open from the centre. Behind them, shelves and dividers sit at staggered heights, so the inside breaks into compartments of different sizes rather than a stack of even shelves. That layout is the point of it: a tall vase, a little figurine or a book standing upright each find a space that fits, and the whole arrangement stays visible through the glass. It is 80% firwood, 19% tempered glass and 1% iron, and weighs 6.03KG.
At only 14cm wide, it is a slim piece made for smaller things: ceramics, little vases, shells, a favourite book or two. That shallow build lets it sit on a console table, sideboard or chest of drawers in a hallway, living room or dining room without crowding the space in front of it. It suits anyone who collects small objects and likes to keep them behind glass while still on show. It sits happily in a room with a rustic or vintage feel, where the worn finish looks at home beside natural wood and woven baskets.
The firwood has an oil-painted, distressed finish, so the black is worn back along the edges and bare wood shows through in places, giving it the look of a piece that has been in use for years. The inside is left as plain wood, so the grain shows behind the glass and gives whatever you display a natural backdrop. Two ornate handles meet at the centre of the doors. Care is simple: wipe it clean with a moist cloth. The maker's assembly instructions come as a PDF download. For styling, use the top as well: a vase or a small stack of books there carries the display upward. The styling props shown are not included.

Frequently Asked
What is the cabinet made of?
It is 80% firwood, 19% tempered glass and 1% iron, and the firwood has an oil-painted, distressed finish.
How big is the cabinet?
It is 50cm long, 14cm wide and 80cm tall, and it weighs 6.03KG, so it is a slim piece suited to smaller objects.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it clean with a moist cloth. That is the care the maker gives for the cabinet, covering the painted frame and the glass doors.
Are there assembly instructions?
Yes. The maker's assembly instructions come as a PDF download, so you have them to hand when you set the cabinet up.
What is the inside like?
