The Hayle cushion is a pure cotton outdoor cushion with two different faces, and switching between them changes the whole feel of a seat. One side carries wide honey and white stripes; turn it over and the other side is a much narrower stripe in the same honey tone. It measures 50 x 50cm, the standard square scatter size, so it drops into most cushion pads without hunting for an odd fitting. Cotton is a natural fibre that feels soft against bare arms and legs, which matters on a cushion you actually lean into rather than only look at.

This one is made for outdoor seating, and the record tells us the cloth is water resistant, so a garden bench, a patio sofa or a set of wooden lounge chairs is where it earns its place.
