Description

Havana is a modern geometric rug in a multi colourway, built from rows of diamonds set inside stepped zigzag lines on a cream ground. The diamonds and their outlines pick up rust, olive, sage green, taupe, soft grey and a deep charcoal brown, so the pattern reads as warm and earthy rather than loud. It is machine woven entirely from polypropylene, and the pile is soft and textured, with a flecked look to each block of colour that gives the rug real depth.

This is a rug for the living room, where a bold geometric design gives a seating area a clear centre. The 120 by 170cm size suits a smaller lounge, a reading corner with a pair of armchairs, or the space in front of a sofa.
