This bowl is made from 100% marble in white, and its shape is what sets it apart. Deep grooves run out from a smooth centre to the rim, each ending in a rounded scallop, so the edge ripples all the way round like the petals of an open flower. It is 17.5cm across and 6cm tall, a low, open size for a coffee table or a dresser, and at 1.288KG it has real weight in the hand and stays put once placed. Marble is a natural stone, so the soft veining varies from one piece to the next and no two bowls are marked quite alike.
