Description

This Knightsbridge track spotlight accepts a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) inside a cylindrical matt black aluminium housing that clips onto standard single-circuit track systems. The spotlight head rotates 350° horizontally and tilts 80° vertically, allowing light to be directed at walls, products, artwork or task surfaces from any position along the track run.

Designed for retail displays, galleries, home accent lighting and office task lighting on track systems, the 56mm diameter and 81mm length keep the fitting compact when installed at typical 2.4-3m ceiling heights. The 163mm total projection from the track includes both the connector stem and the light head. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments, and the Class I construction requires an earthed track system for safe operation.

The matt black finish on the aluminium body minimises reflections under shop lighting or daylight and pairs with both warm-toned and monochrome interiors. The spotlight accepts any GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 40W, giving control over beam angle (narrow spot to wide flood), colour temperature and brightness. Dimming capability depends on the bulb chosen — pairing with a dimmable GU10 LED and a compatible track dimmer allows full 0-100% control.

The spotlight takes a single GU10 bulb up to 40W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a GU10 LED between 4-7W and 3000K for warm accent lighting, or 4000K for neutral task lighting in offices and kitchens.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulb. If you fit a dimmable GU10 LED and connect the track to a compatible dimmer switch, the spotlight can be dimmed. Non-dimmable GU10 LEDs will not dim and may flicker if paired with a dimmer.

What track system does it fit?

The spotlight fits standard single-circuit track systems with a universal connector. Knightsbridge track systems are compatible, as are most other UK-market single-circuit tracks. The connector is plastic with metal contact points.

Can the head be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The head rotates 350° horizontally and tilts 80° vertically on a friction joint, so it can be repositioned by hand at any time without tools. The joint holds the spotlight in place once set.
