Description

This Knightsbridge grid switch cover is a replacement rocker marked 'FRIDGE' in raised lettering, finished in black nickel. The cover clips onto any standard Knightsbridge grid rocker module, replacing the plain blank rocker with one that identifies which appliance the switch controls. Dimensioned at 33mm high by 16mm wide, the cover fits all single-module grid rockers in the Knightsbridge range.

Designed for use in kitchens, utility rooms and commercial catering environments where multiple appliances are controlled from a single grid plate, the engraved legend removes ambiguity about which switch controls which appliance. The raised 'FRIDGE' lettering is moulded into the ABS rocker and remains legible even when viewed from an angle or under low light. The black nickel finish coordinates with Knightsbridge's black nickel grid plates and faceplates.

The rocker cover is constructed from ABS plastic with a steel spring mechanism inside, giving the same tactile click and travel as the standard blank rockers. The black nickel coating provides a dark gunmetal tone that sits between polished chrome and matt black, pairing well with stainless steel appliances and darker joinery. Installation requires no tools — the old rocker pulls off the module and the new one clips into place in seconds.

The cover fits all single-module Knightsbridge grid rockers including 10AX intermediate, 20AX 2-way, and DP switch modules. It does not fit toggle switches or non-Knightsbridge grid systems.

Can the rocker be changed without removing the grid plate?

Yes. The rocker cover pulls off the front of the module without needing to unscrew the grid plate or disconnect any wiring. The replacement clips straight onto the existing module mechanism.
