Description

This gothic skull jewellery box is a small piece with plenty of character. A gold skull wears a tall crown set with jewel-like studs in clear, red and green, and rests on a stack of old books with gold page edges and a glossy black top cover. The skull is detailed with fine cracks and shading, and its white teeth stand out against the gold, giving it a weathered, antique look. It stands 7.5cm tall, 6.1cm wide and 5cm deep, so it sits neatly on a dressing table, bookshelf or bedside cabinet without taking over.

The top book is the lid. It lifts on a small hinge at the spine to open onto a white interior, a tidy place for rings, stud earrings and other small treasures you want to keep close.
