Description
The Gori DL is a garden spike light that stakes directly into soil or a border to throw light upward across planting, a low wall or a feature. It takes a single GU10 PAR16 LED lamp at up to 10W, running on a standard 220-240V AC mains supply, so the tone and brightness follow whichever GU10 you fit. In US terms this is a landscape spike or pathway light, the staked uplighter used to graze foliage and architectural surfaces after dark.
Its job is accent and direction rather than broad area cover, so picture it lighting one shrub, a section of fence or a path edge rather than filling a space. Several spaced along a bed or pathway build a layered effect, each one pushing a focused pool of light onto the surface it faces. Because it is IP44 rated, splash-resistant and sheltered, it suits covered or partly protected outdoor positions such as a porch surround, a carport edge or a planted bed under eaves. Keep it clear of fully exposed spots that take direct rain or hose jets, and out of standing water.
The body is aluminium alloy in an anthracite finish that settles into garden planting, with a 73 x 73 x 104 mm footprint and a 272 g weight that keeps it stable once the spike is pushed home. Mounting is by the ground spike alone; it is not wall, ceiling or recessed fixed. The GU10 holder lets you swap the lamp without replacing the fitting. This range also includes further Gori spike and ground options for matching a garden scheme.

Frequently Asked
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, within limits. The IP44 rating makes it splash-resistant and fine for sheltered or covered outdoor positions such as a porch, carport or planted bed under cover. Avoid fully exposed spots that take direct rain, hose jets or standing water.
Can the angle be adjusted?
The spike pushes into soil or a border and the head can be tilted to aim the beam onto a shrub, wall or path. Reposition the whole fitting by lifting and re-staking it, which makes it easy to retune the effect as planting grows.
Does it run on mains or a transformer?
It runs on a standard 220-240V AC mains supply, so no separate low-voltage transformer is needed. Connect it through a suitable outdoor-rated supply and the GU10 lamp draws up to 10W.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the anthracite aluminium body and lens with a soft, damp cloth once the lamp is off and cool. Clear away soil, leaves and garden debris around the spike so the beam stays unobstructed, and avoid abrasive cleaners on the finish.
