Description
This large globe filament LED bulb takes the classic G125 form, a 125mm diameter clear glass sphere on an E27 Edison Screw cap. It draws just 4W and gives 250 lumens of light at a super warm 1800K, the deep amber tone that mimics an old incandescent glow rather than crisp white. American shoppers will know the E27 base as a standard medium screw fitting, and the G125 shape as an oversized decorative globe. Visible LED filaments run inside the clear glass, with a wide 320 degree spread and Ra 80 colour rendering.
This bulb suits open, decorative fittings where the lamp itself is on show: pendant drops over a dining table or kitchen island, exposed bare-bulb pendants, bedside and hallway fittings, and wall brackets in living rooms and snugs. Its low 250 lumen output and 1800K tone are about atmosphere rather than bright task light, so it works best as a soft, warm accent or in clusters of several bulbs. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp setting.
The G125 globe measures 125mm across and 178mm tall and weighs 98g, with a clear glass envelope showing the vintage filament strands. It runs on 220 to 240V AC mains direct from the E27 cap, with no transformer needed, and is rated for 15,000 hours. At 4W for 250 lumens it returns around 63 lumens per watt while replacing a far higher wattage filament lamp. This bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a plain on/off switch. Other E27 globe sizes sit alongside it in our range.

Frequently Asked
What fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E27 Edison Screw cap, known in the US as a standard medium screw base. It screws straight into any E27 holder and runs on 220 to 240V mains, with no transformer required.
Can this bulb be dimmed?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb, so it should be used with a standard on/off switch. Fitting it to a dimmer may cause flicker or buzzing and is not recommended.
What does the super warm 1800K colour look like?
1800K is a deep amber glow, warmer than typical warm white and close to the look of an old filament lamp or candlelight. With the visible LED filaments and clear glass it gives a soft, decorative light rather than a bright working light.
Can I use this bulb outdoors or in a bathroom?
No, it is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only. Keep it out of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp location and use it in open or enclosed indoor fittings instead.
