Description
This G125 globe is a large decorative LED bulb on an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap, built around visible LED filaments behind clear glass for a vintage look. It draws just 11W while putting out 1520 lumens, standing in for a 99W old bulb at a fraction of the power. The tone is 4000K cool white, a crisp, clean light, and the wide 320 degree beam spreads it evenly all around the bulb rather than in one direction. In US terms this is a large globe lamp on a standard screw base.
Because of its size and the exposed filament detail, the G125 suits fittings where the bulb is on show: open pendants over a kitchen island or dining table, a bare-bulb wall light, or a multi-arm chandelier where each lamp reads as part of the look. It is an indoor bulb only, rated IP20, so keep it out of bathrooms, porches and any damp or outdoor spot. The 320 degree spread and 1520 lumen output give a bright, glare-aware glow that works well as a focal feature as much as a light source, with the cool white tone keeping the filaments looking sharp.
The bulb measures 125 mm in diameter by 178 mm tall and weighs 102 g, so allow room in larger open shades and pendants. It runs on 220 to 240V mains AC straight from the E27 holder with no driver to add. CRI is Ra 80 and rated life is 15,000 hours. This is a non-dimmable bulb, so pair it with a standard on/off switch rather than a dimmer. Our wider E27 filament range covers smaller globe and candle shapes if you need to match several fittings.

Frequently Asked
Which fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E27 Edison Screw (ES) cap, the larger of the two common screw fittings. It twists straight into any standard E27 lampholder and runs on 220 to 240V mains, so no transformer or driver is needed.
What old bulb wattage does it replace?
The LED itself draws only 11W but gives 1520 lumens, which matches the brightness of a 99W old incandescent bulb. You get close to the same light for around a ninth of the power.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, it is non-dimmable. Use it with a standard on/off switch. Fitting it to a dimmer circuit can cause flicker or shorten its life, so it is best kept off dimmed lines.
Can I use it outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so it is not suitable for bathrooms, porches, gardens or any damp location. Keep it to enclosed indoor fittings such as pendants, wall lights and chandeliers.
