Description

The Fradelo is a square flush ceiling light in a chrome finish, with four square LED lights set in a neat grid across a steel base. Each one sits in a textured, sparkling frame of plastic and brilliant glass around a mirrored chrome centre, so the frames catch the eye whenever the LEDs are lit. It measures 28cm long, 28cm wide and just 6cm high. The LEDs are integrated, four at 3.5W each, giving 400lm per light in a warm white of 3000K. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors, in dry rooms, and never outside or near water.

At only 6cm high, it suits rooms where a hanging pendant would crowd the space: a hallway or landing with a lower ceiling, a bedroom, a study or a compact living room. The square shape lines up neatly with the walls, and the chrome and clear finish sits comfortably in modern and more traditional schemes alike. Because the light source is integrated, there are no bulbs to buy or change, and the 3000K warm white gives a relaxed, welcoming light rather than a cold, clinical one.

The body is steel with a chrome finish, and the diffusers combine plastic with brilliant glass for their crystal-like texture. It runs on 220-240V mains and carries an Energy Class F rating. As a wired-in mains fitting, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. It weighs 2.033KG packed. There is no switch on the light itself, so it works from your wall switch, and because it is not dimmable, a standard switch suits it better than a dimmer.

No, it is not dimmable. It has no switch of its own, so it is turned on and off from your wall switch.

How big is the Fradelo ceiling light?

It is 28cm long, 28cm wide and 6cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling and suits rooms with lower ceilings.

What colour is the light it gives?

The integrated LEDs give a warm white light of 3000K, with 400lm from each of the four lights.

Does it need bulbs?

No bulbs are needed. The LEDs are integrated, four at 3.5W each, so there is no lamp to buy or replace.
