Description

The Fortano is a 10-light chandelier built on a geometric brass frame with black detailing, suspending ten white cylindrical glass shades on crossed arms that radiate from a central column. Each shade houses an E27 bulb (sold separately), and the 86cm diameter span gives the fitting presence over dining tables, entrance halls and double-height living spaces.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Fortano hangs on an adjustable rod that allows the minimum drop to be set at 54cm or extended up to 76.4cm depending on the ceiling height and table position. The crossed brass arms create a balanced geometric composition when viewed from below, with the black accents on the central rod and individual lamp sockets adding contrast against the warm brass finish. The white glass cylinders diffuse light evenly in all directions, providing ambient illumination rather than directed task light.

The brass frame is finished in a mid-tone satin brass that sits between polished and brushed, reducing reflections without appearing too matte. Can it be used in a bathroom or conservatory?

No. The IP20 rating restricts the Fortano to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor covered areas, or conservatories where humidity and condensation are present.

How is the drop height adjusted?

The chandelier hangs on an adjustable rod that can be shortened or extended during installation. The rod is cut or configured to the desired length before final fitting, so the drop height is set once during installation rather than being adjustable after fitting.
