Description

This ceramic photo frame sets a favourite picture inside a heart-shaped window, surrounded by delicate sprays of wildflowers and fine green stems. The square face is a soft white with gently rounded corners and a raised beaded edge running all the way round, while the words "Love Story" sit across the top in pale pink lettering. Beneath the heart, a small raised heart adds a quiet finishing touch. It takes a 4 x 4in photo and stands 15cm tall and just as wide, so it sits comfortably on a shelf or bedside table without taking over.

Because it is freestanding, the frame needs no wall and no fixings: open the easel at the back and set it down wherever it suits. We like it on a dressing table, a mantelpiece, a desk or a bedroom windowsill, anywhere a cherished snapshot deserves pride of place. The heart window flatters a portrait, cropping naturally around faces, while the white ceramic and soft floral colours sit happily in pale, modern rooms and more traditional, cottage-style interiors alike. With its printed words and gentle wildflowers, it makes a heartfelt gift that keeps a treasured moment close at hand.

The frame is made from ceramic, with a smooth face. Its black backing board carries a hinged easel stand and a small turn clip at one side, which swivels to release the back so you can slip your picture in and change it whenever the mood takes you. To keep it looking its best, lift dust with a soft dry cloth, or wipe the front with a lightly damp cloth and dry it straight away, keeping moisture well away from the backing and your photo. Like any ceramic, it is best handled with care, as it can chip if knocked. Pop a favourite picture in before you wrap it, and it is ready to give.
