Fletcher 22" Flush Ceiling Light - Aged Brass with Ivory Shade

The Fletcher is a 559mm diameter flush ceiling light combining an ivory faux silk drum shade with an aged brass finial and base plate. The fabric shade wraps a white acrylic diffuser that disperses light from five E27 bulbs (sold separately) evenly across the room. The fitting sits 262mm from the ceiling, making it suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above where a pendant drop would intrude into headroom.

Designed for living rooms, dining rooms and master bedrooms where ambient overhead lighting is needed without losing ceiling height, the Fletcher provides broad light spread across 15-20m² floor areas. The flush mount attaches directly to a standard UK ceiling rose without requiring additional suspension hardware. The five E27 sockets allow total wattage up to 300W across all bulbs combined, though most installations use five 6-10W LED bulbs totaling 30-50W for sufficient ambient light.

The aged brass finial and ceiling plate show a darker, oxidised finish compared to polished or brushed brass, giving the fitting a warmer tone that sits comfortably in traditional, transitional and mid-century interiors. The ivory faux silk shade has a fine weave texture visible when lit, softening the light output and reducing glare. The shade diameter of 559mm provides visual presence without overwhelming typical 3.5-4m room widths.

What bulbs does it take?

The Fletcher takes five E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with five warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient lighting across living rooms and bedrooms.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Can the shade be cleaned?

The faux silk shade can be dusted with a soft brush or microfibre cloth. Do not soak the fabric or use household chemical cleaners.
