The Fiesta cushion pairs a plain dove-grey velvet body with a border of small pompoms in bright, contrasting colours. Named after the Spanish word for festival, it takes a calm, neutral ground and trims it with pinks, teals, golds and greens, so the colour lives at the edges rather than across the whole face. The cover is made from 100% polyester velvet, cut here at 35 x 50cm, a boudoir size that sits well against larger square cushions rather than standing alone. A zip is hidden in the seam along one long edge, so the closure stays out of sight and the pompoms carry the whole look.

This is a cushion for a bit of fun without committing a whole room to strong colour. Because the body is a soft dove grey, it works on a neutral sofa, an armchair or across the head of a bed, and the pompom border does the talking.
