The fabric blends 52% cotton, 24% polyester, 11% viscose and 13% other fibre. Cotton brings a soft, natural handle, polyester adds strength and helps a cloth keep its shape, and viscose lends a gentle drape. At 1.1KG it has real substance, so it settles over your knees rather than slipping away.
