Description

This is a pack of two C size alkaline cells from the Eveready Gold range. C is the stout cylindrical cell that sits between AA and D in the standard sizes, and like every alkaline cell it gives 1.5V. Its trade code is LR14. If the cell you are replacing is marked C or LR14, this is the one you want; if it is marked LR20 it is a D and will not fit the compartment, and LR6 is an AA. The two cells come sealed on a blister card.

C cells turn up where a device needs more running time than an AA can give but has not got the room for a D.
